One thing that various expressions of Christian faith have really been into is Hell.

So much so that you might assume that the Bible is clear about what hell and evil are. One trouble is that some people don’t know what (the) hell they are talking about. The other trouble is that it is possible that your concept of hell is preventing you from seeing God’s goodness.

Hell and evil have been understood in various ways through Christian history.

For the fall 2026 Home Group series we will consider what some of these ways are and how our concepts of evil and hell align with our faith or at times very much differ from our faith.

We will consider key ideas about hell and evil from various Christian traditions. We will look at some contemporary examples - how is hell today?

Our larger intent is to move forward in hopeful Christian faith and understanding.
