Each Sunday evening during the season of Advent, we’ll gather at the Reflector Project office for a time of prayer focused on this sacred season—preparing our hearts for the celebration of Christmas and the mystery of the Incarnation. Allison will lead us through a brief liturgy shaped by the Anglican tradition.
The Anglican prayer liturgy includes responsive readings, Scripture, the Lord’s Prayer, and prayers for the community and the world. It’s a form of prayer that is embodied and communal—you may be invited to stand, to respond aloud, or to read Scripture alongside others. No preparation is needed to participate. We’ll have prayer books that will guide us - just come.
This tradition is likely unfamiliar and may feel very different from how you’ve experienced prayer before, but we believe that it offers a unique and grounded way to step into the practice of prayer, one that is participatory and is engaged with a Christian community around the world.
