Reflector Writes
What might happen if you slowed down, paid attention, and put some of what you discover into words?
Reflector Writes is a facilitated writing group for people who want to explore their lives through writing. You don't need to consider yourself a “writer,” and you don't need to arrive with a particular story to tell.
Through short readings, writing invitations, conversation, and time to write, we'll make space to notice what is happening beneath the surface of our lives—to discover, articulate, and share what matters most to us.
This isn't a traditional creative-writing workshop. The goal isn't to produce polished work or prepare writing for publication. The writing is the means of exploration, not the product being evaluated.
Over seven sessions, we'll explore questions of identity, agency, embodiment, longing, lament, restoration, and what it means to know and be known.
You always choose what you write and what you share. Come as you are, and begin where you actually are.
Facilitated by Brad Gambill, who taught creative writing and American and Indigenous literature for more than twenty years before moving to the Lower Mainland in 2025.
Space is limited - please email Todd or info@reflectorproject.ca for to register.
